A few weeks ago, John and I decided to visit Grounds for Sculpture, in Hamilton, New Jersey. I’d heard about it and had always wanted to pay a visit. It was a beautiful, extremely hot day but the drive and stroll through the grounds was definitely worth every single drop of sweat!
I created the following video which is just a small sampling of the work you will find at GFS. I’ve set it up as a sort of Summer stroll, mimicking the actual stroll we too through the actual grounds. You will see some of the works that resonated with me and there are a whole bunch more that I took out so that the video wouldn’t be 30 minutes long!
I highly recommend visiting Grounds for Sculpture if you live or are visiting the NYC metropolitan area. It’s easy to get to and one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to in a very long time.
Take some time to enjoy the video and let me know your favorite pieces, if any pop out at you, in the comments on YouTube. . . and subscribe to my channel to be kept up to date on all the new videos that are in the works!
